Cultural Festival 2012
Yesterday afternoon Burnham school got to go to the CBS Arena to preform Kapa Haka so we could represent our school in front of 2000 people plus other school.
We started at school where we had to get changed,the girls had to get their hair done and their dresses on,the boys had to get their black shorts on a swell.It was hard for the girls because when we eventually got on the bus some of us including me had our pins came out of our dresses that's when I was getting stressed.
The nerves were coming to us, when we were backstage we had to make our way up the stairs to the stage.It was nervraking when they called our name, by the time I knew it Burnham school was up on stage as fast as a cheetah. It was scary you couldn't tell if the audience was there or not, it was pitch black with the lights on us the Audience was blown away with the boys haka, it was as loud as a boat horn. The audience even clapped to the beat of reach a-swell.
Overall I think that going to the cultrual festival was amazing, preforming up there was great. The scary thing was you weren't sure if the big screen behind you was zooming in on your face.

Statistical Investigation
Our groups investigation was Which gender is taller? that means that we measured some of the girls and boys in our class.
The type of graph that I used was a bar graph and under it is a statement which show how a bar graph works.
The results show that boys are taller than girls by 76cm the tallest boy was 188cm and the shortest girl was 112cm.

For my speech people thought that I used volume,content and pace really well and the thing I need to work on is eye contact,louder,stand tall and content-edited.
The next time I do my speech again I think I need to work on eye contact and not to play around with my hands or feet.

Mask
-The changes I made were the colour it was ment to be an aqua colour but we didn't have that so I used blue.
-The hardest part of creating my mask is attaching the sequence to the feathers and the mask because it kept burning my fingers.
-The colours I used were blue,purple,gold and black I used these colours because there dark colours and go really well.
- My mask sautes my personality because I like that the blue is more bright to other people's.
-My mask is suitable for cultural festival because its bright and colourful and it looks amazing.
